East County Oak is a timber framing shop based in Athens, Georgia. We specialize in designing and hand crafting traditional timber frames. We also provide fine carpentry services and custom woodworking and furniture.

This was a wonderful project for amazing clients/friends, and a great collaboration with Atlanta architect Garrett Daniel. The posts and knee braces are planed red oak that were removed from the site, complemented with southern yellow pine. The existing log cabin attached by a breezeway, makes for a perfect marriage of traditional craft.
